Unlike their Necron masters, Canoptek Spyders never rest, spending the aeons maintaining the structures of their Tomb World. Essentially autonomous drones, they are nonetheless deadly opponents. Any enemy within reach will find flesh torn from bone by a web of mechanical tools, pincers, and hooks. When operating in triads, one Spyder assumes command, combining the processing power of the others to form a hyper-efficient supermind. This enhances the effectiveness of nearby Canoptek Wraiths and Scarabs, ensuring the safety of the sleeping Necron masters.

Canoptek Spyders excel both as ferocious combatants and as battlefield engineers, capable of repairing vehicles while simultaneously tearing through enemy infantry or tanks. Even in the midst of battle, they can spawn Canoptek Scarabs to amplify war efforts and frustrate foes.

This multipart plastic kit builds one Canoptek Spyder. It contains 30 components, two ball-socket stems, and one large flying base. Supplied unpainted, assembly is required — Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints are recommended.
