Though technically immortal, the destruction of a Yoroni spirit’s form is no small matter—it casts them back into the elemental hells, an agonizing journey that may cost them hard-earned Enlightenment. It can take centuries to claw back to the Prime Domain. But through ancient techniques, Onmyoji can hasten their return: by retrieving their armor and inscribing their true name, fallen heroes are granted another chance to walk the battlefield. These wisps of their former selves fight alongside their incarnated kin, seeking Enlightenment through sacrifice and service. Eternally fearless, they give their all to shield their comrades and advance the cause of the Bakufu.

On the battlefield, the Domaru-damashi – Void (Mu) – are cheap, spectral shock troops. Their ethereal forms offer cover and concealment without obstructing friendly vision, making them perfect for protecting elite Yoroni units while offering tactical screening. Use them to engage enemies on your terms, trade efficiently, and delay threats to more valuable forces.
