Heroes from before the Fall rise to serve the Old Dominion once more. These animated simulacra are mighty conquerors and defenders, drawing upon dark power to enhance their already formidable combat abilities.
Heralds of the Fallen Gods
The Fallen Pantheon counted countless celestial servants among its followers, from angels and seraphs to powers and principalities. Many perished during the Fall and the divine conflict that followed, but some endured. Revered by name, their shrines and statues became anchors of faith and power, preserving their presence in the Prime Domain.
Awakened through faithful ritual or summoned by their fallen divinities, these beings send their heavy bodies soaring through the heavens. Their memories of flight defy the laws of the world as they herald the arrival of their gods in a torrent of bloodshed.
How They Play in First Blood
Fallen Angels are battlefield champions who siphon dark power to strengthen their potent combat capabilities, serving as mighty conquerors and defenders for the Old Dominion.
How They Play in The Last Argument of Kings
Fallen Angels bring versatility that extends beyond the mobility provided by Flying. Dark Awakening lets them tailor their Special Rules to deliver powerful strikes against a wide variety of opponents.
They are particularly effective late in the game, when Power Tokens are plentiful. Commanders must carefully balance spending tokens to empower the Angels against preserving the army’s growth, ensuring these ancient champions unleash their strength at the decisive moment.
Fallen Angels can be fielded as a Mainstay choice for the Theokrator or a Restricted choice for the Strategos and Archimandrite.
