The monoliths are ancient standing stones, intricately tapered and adorned with mysterious symbols, scattered across the southern desert lands. Elven scholars have attempted to study them from a distance, theorizing that they form part of an arcane power grid. However, their true purpose and function remain a mystery. In battle, the hieroglyphs etched into the weathered stones glow with an inner fire, empowering the spells of the empire’s mages.
