The development of a new serum by the enigmatic Oberstarzt Albrecht von Zögling required more than scientific brilliance — it demanded a machine capable of distributing the volatile solution to the freshly dead. The result is the terrifying Sd.Kfz. 501/1 Nachtzehrer.

Named after creatures of grim folklore — revenants said to drag the living into the realm of death — the Nachtzehrer features a design reminiscent of a hermit crab. A small, protected crew compartment allows scientists to operate external instruments without exposure, while an armoured, temperature-controlled canister houses the highly unstable serum.

Large, blade-like forearms inject the serum directly into corpses with brutal efficiency. These mechanical limbs are equally deadly against the living, allowing the Nachtzehrer to cut down enemies and immediately convert them into shambling undead reinforcements.

This multipart plastic kit also includes the option to build the Sd.Kfz. 501/4 Infernospinne. This variant replaces the serum canister with volatile napalm and swaps medical instruments for devastating flamethrowers. Though slightly less nimble and more volatile, the Infernospinne delivers terrifying incendiary power, surpassing even its Flammenspinne cousin.

Miniatures sculpted by Jon Heeney and painted by Darek Wyrozebski. Models are supplied unassembled and unpainted.
