The advent of the Archangels and the machinations of the hierarchy of the Theist Church have finally granted them the spiritual and temporal power to call for a Crusade. By rallying the population and nobility, the Theist Church has bypassed restrictions against raising armies—forces now pledged and led by Crusading Noble Lords. The Crusaders, inspired by heavenly reward, charge against the enemies of the faith, their blows strengthened by conviction and divine purpose.

How they Play:
Crusaders are the Theist counterpart to Men-at-Arms, but come better equipped and zealously inspired. They form the backbone of a Theist army, acting as front-line infantry. When paired with Crusader Noble Lords, Theist Priests, Archangels, and Sicarii, they become part of a synergistic force empowered by miracles and righteous fury.
