The skilled leaders of the Riverguard are known as Sentinels. Tasked with overseeing entire river basins or lake systems, they act as the eyes and ears of the Trident Realm, passing news and intelligence to their Neritican superiors. Regularly inspected by the royal envoys of the Trident Realm, Sentinels hold a position of high trust and responsibility.

Many Sentinels are drawn from the ranks of the elite Dambusters, and some retain their mighty amphibian mounts to lead whole armies into battle. From the saddle of these towering beasts, they can command troops with authority and strike at the enemy with devastating impact.
