Designed to spearhead assaults against the most heavily fortified strongpoints, the Stahltruppen represent the pinnacle of Axis infantry. Encased in armour rivaling that of early tanks, these elite troops are the result of Rift-driven breakthroughs in metallurgy and servo-motor technology, creating immensely powerful armoured suits capable of wielding heavy weapons with ease.

Stahltruppen advance without hesitation into storms of machine-gun fire, cutting down enemy infantry in torrents of automatic fire and tearing open breaches for the troops that follow. Only the most decorated veterans are selected to don this armour, and they rightly consider themselves the elite among Axis forces.

This plastic boxed set contains 9 multi-part Axis Stahltruppen heavy infantry, armed with devastating weapons such as the StG 44Z assault rifle, MG 42 light machine gun, and the Panzerbüchse 41 anti-tank gun – a weapon carried by hand by these armoured behemoths. The kit includes a wealth of extra components, including alternate heads, vicious tri-edged daggers, and a choice of five different leg poses per sprue, allowing for exceptional customisation. The incredible level of detail and imposing size of these models make them a perfect centrepiece for any Axis army.

On the Konflikt ’47 tabletop, Stahltruppen are the heaviest Specialist Infantry available to Axis players. Able to shrug off small-arms fire as they advance and bristling with automatic weaponry, they are lethal to any enemy infantry foolish enough to stand in their path. Their Vormarsch! Rift ability ensures that, when the decisive moment comes, they will continue to advance regardless of how intense the incoming fire may be.
