A Crusader Awakens
Entombed with honour in the subterranean necropolis of Ierapetra, Andronicus rested alongside the veterans who followed him during the Northern Crusades. Buried with him was his most cherished prize from Mannheim: a Wælcyrge, an instrument of the dead gods of the Nords.
Upon rising, Andronicus realised that Hazlia’s destruction of Yggdrasil had been driven by fear of the World Tree’s true nature. Disillusioned, he and his followers withdrew into a restless slumber. Now, Reginleif’s intrusion and the theft of his treasured prize have stirred the ancient crusaders into action.
How It Plays in First Blood
Andronicus is a Legendary Warlord who leads his risen legions with flame and fury. He kindles the faith of his allies while burning those who reject Hazlia’s salvation, wearing down the resolve of enemies caught in his presence.
How It Plays in The Last Argument of Kings
A profane scholar and leader of the Northern Crusades, Andronicus empowers his priestly followers to unleash torrents of unholy magic. He can use his own rules in Casual and Narrative play, or represent an Archimandrite in Organized Play.
