Mario Petralone was once a Venetian nobleman, until fate caught him in Florence during the cataclysmic Rent in the Sky. He did not perish but was instead trapped between realms. Consumed by grief and rage, Mario possessed his own son, his form transforming into inky tendrils that pierced the young man’s eyes, nose, and throat. In that terrible moment, the incorporeal noble anchored himself to the world through his family’s anguish.

This set contains the Black Spectre, a powerful Gifted for hire. Able to drift through solid walls, soar across the battlefield, and drain life from his foes, few are safe from his spectral grasp. His Spectral Touch cuts through armour, and his Stunning attacks leave enemies helpless. Black Spectre is among the most formidable beings in all of Carnevale.

As a Gifted, Black Spectre can join the Commedia dell’Arte or be included in any faction, offering a devastating combination of raw power and surprising mobility for such a massive model.
