Having harnessed the power of the Rent for themselves, the Doctors of the Ospedale relentlessly push their experiments to the limits of possibility. Seeking to uncover the origins of the monstrous Rashaar, a new division known as the Tide Research wing has risen within their ranks. Through ruthless experimentation, these scientists have captured live Rashaar specimens and even implanted gills into human test subjects. More shocking still, the Tide Research wing has uncovered a truth about the Rent—one that could change the fate of Venice forever.

This box is led by a Doctor of the Tides clad in a massive diving suit powered by a madness crystal, wielding a heavy trident capable of skewering any creature from the depths. They are supported by a Marine Biologist, an expert in Rashaar physiology equipped with gills and fins that allow them to move through the water with uncanny speed.

A Harvester remains aboard ship, ready to haul in captured specimens, while a Diving Assistant uses a smaller trident to defend their master during underwater excursions. Finally, a ghastly Mermaid—stitched together from human and fish—proves to the Ospedale that their abominable experiments are, disturbingly, successful.
